SIMULTANEOUS / CONFERENCE INTERPRETING
Our interpreting services in are offered to individuals, businesses and NGOs, and Governments, and enables them to quickly and efficiently have conversations interpreted in the many local languages and foreign languages from all parts of the world.
The difference between consecutive vs simultaneous interpretation is that the Consecutive is stop and start while Simultaneous is continuous. As its name suggests, simultaneous interpreting is when the interpretation is rendered almost at the same time the speaker is speaking. The slight delay is to allow for information gathering so there is context to interpret into.
Our simultaneous interpreters will ensure your event is a success. Simultaneous interpreting, most commonly seen in the UN, at conferences, in the courts, and in emergency medical situations, is the mode of interpreting quite challenging to master. Our team is extensively trained and used to this activity as they perform them almost on a daily basis.
CONSECUTIVE INTERPRETING
The difference between consecutive vs simultaneous interpretation is that the Consecutive is stop and start while Simultaneous is continuous. In consecutive interpreting, the interpreter speaks after the source-language speaker has finished speaking. The speech is divided into segments, and the interpreter sits or stands beside the source-language speaker, listening and taking notes as the speaker progresses through the message. Our team is extensively trained and used to this activity as they perform them almost on a daily basis.
